COBI 5710 Junkers JU-52/3M G5E Historical Collection

German transport aircraft produced from 1931 to 1952, first with a single engine and later with three engines. In the 1930s and 1940s, this aircraft flew both civilly and militarily. It flew for Lufthansa and Swissair, among others, and for the Luftwaffe as a troop and freight carrier and even for a short time as a bomber. Nicknamed 'Aunt Ju' and 'Iron Annie', the Ju 52 continued to fly with military and civilian air fleets well into the 1980s. 4,845 units were built.
