The Polaroid OneStep SX-70 is not only one of the most iconic cameras in the world, it now comes in a LEGO Ideas design. The camera model comes from Users Minibrick Productions. In 48 days, the popular camera already collected 10,000 votes from fans and is the 20th model to enter the first review phase in 2022. Attention all retro and photography fans, don't let the photo fade.
LEGO Ideas Polaroid OneStep SX-70
The model is for display only and of course cannot take photos without a working lens. Still, it shares many features of the original Polaroid camera. The gear on the left can be turned so that the film appears to develop and the photos emerge. The photos can be removed and replaced by pressing the opening on the front of the camera. The viewfinder can be used as intended because it has an opening that goes through the entire camera. The front of the camera can be opened. The Polaroid OneStep SX-70 is a near-scale model and should measure approximately 11 inches (28.4 cm) long, 6 inches (17.5 cm) wide, and 3 inches (7.6 cm) high. The LEGO camera consists of 538 parts and comes with the well-known Rainbow Polaroid OneStep and a box of SX-70 film. A fabric strap can also be added to the model to secure the camera to the hand. 
So far, no Polaroid camera has made it particularly far in the Ideas design competition, so it's good news for Minibrick Productions that so many people have already voted for this design. It is a beautiful model, known worldwide and retro stuff is more popular than ever. We'll have to wait and see what LEGO designers have to say about the model in the fall. We think that there may be a problem with the rights... as was recently the case with the LEGO 42141 Formula 1 car
