The Detective's Office (set number: 10246) is the tenth set in the LEG O Modular Building line and was released on January 1, 2015. This set contains 2262 pieces. It contains a detective agency, a barbershop called "Al's", a billiard table "pool" room, and an upstairs detective agency with a hallway. The "Al's" sign resembles the various brick-built lettering signs of the pet store, city hall, and fire department. The "Pool" sign pictured uses a construction technique that has never been used before. The interior of the pool room features a fan, pool table and dart board. The detective agency has clues, a cupboard and a secret storage room behind a photo. The barbershop is equipped with a mirror, scissors, lighting and chairs for customers. The apartment has an old style toilet and a small kitchen. This Modular differs from previous buildings in that it introduced play functions of a secret or "illegal" nature: it has secret compartments that allow cookies to be smuggled throughout the building. It is also different because it is the first Modular with two buildings on the same base plate. The front of the building has a kiosk, a tree and two balconies. It contains six minifigures.
