LEGO Pac Man

The popular game Pac-Man could soon be available as a LEGO display set. The Pac-Man Moving Display design was able to collect 10,000 votes on LEGO Ideas after 433 days, making it the fourth model in the current review phase. The design comes from Ethan Watkins, who calls himself LiteBricks on Ideas. He was able to send his very first model directly to the Ideas Review. Let's take a closer look at the design!

Ethan has always been a big fan of Pac-Man and wanted to create an interesting LEGO set that not only looks cool, but is also fun to interact with. This resulted in the Moving Display Set, which shows a moving Pac-Man with interchangeable figures. Pac-Man chases four blue ghosts, each mounted on a stand. The four spirits can also be exchanged for pellets.

This set includes the Pac-Man figure, the four blue ghosts, one red, pink, blue and orange ghost each, four ghost eyes, three pellets and an energy pellet, as well as the display stand, crank turning mechanism and 5 figure supports. The manual crank on the side of the stand moves Pac-Man's mouth and alternates up and down for the four adjacent figures.

The design is 9.6 cm wide, 29.6 cm long and 17.3 cm high and consists of 1,603 in total. Of course, the set has no minifigures at all.

Licensing issues may arise, as the owners of Bandai Namco themselves sell products, but not terminal blocks. It is also questionable whether LEGO would include a second video game in the Ideas series or whether Sonic could be seen as a competitor. It remains exciting.
