Looking for the LEGO® DUPLO® brick

Can you find the same DUPLO® brick? Is the stone curved or straight, long or short? This activity is all about using feeling.

Steps

STEP 1

Find matching pairs of DUPLO shapes

Look in your stack of tiles and choose four to eight pairs of the same shape.

STEP 2

Grab a bag

Place one of each pair of stones in the bag.

STEP 3

Put a blindfold on your child

Do not cheat!

STEP 4

Ask your child to feel the stones outside the bag

Are they curved, slanted or flat? How many studs do they have? Are they long or short?

STEP 5

Let's play

Ask your child to feel in the bag and find the pairs of stones. When you're done, you can build something with the bricks!
