LEGO Thomas Train Ideas

Tchoo Tchoo. To celebrate the 75th anniversary of Thomas the Train, fan designer KaijuBuildz placed the LEGO Ideas Thomas the Tank Engine on the website last year. This entry recently reached 10K supporters and qualifies for the second review round of 2022.

Who hasn't heard of Thomas the Train? In 1946, Wilbert Awdry invented this lively and characterful train. More than 75 years later, the theme is still very popular and known among many young (and slightly older) fans. Thomas the Train has a detailed interior and space to place a Minifigure. Included is a buildable display stand and you can change Thomas' facial expressions. According to the fan designer, the combination of trains and the popular Thomas is reason enough for this project to become a successful LEGO Ideas set.
