Build your own LEGO tower

A LEGO tower

    There are endless ways to build a LEGO® tower. You can build a castle or a skyscraper, or just see how many bricks you can stack until your tower falls!

    Steps

    STEP 1

    Sketch a design

    Think about the design of your tower. Is it going to be high? Draw it first so you know what your LEGO® tower will look like.

    STEP 2

    Build a base

    You can use a LEGO® building plate if you have one or you can make one from bricks.

    STEP 3

    Build the foundation Build the base for your tower. The easiest shape is a simple square of four bricks, but a wider foundation can provide more support.

    STEP 4

    Build your tower

    Super tip: Remember that you don't have to follow straight lines. Towers often end in a point. You can give your stones a triangle shape at the top.

    STEP 5

    Dotting the i's!

    When you build a castle, you can add flags, turrets, dragons, princes or princesses. If you make a modern building, you can make a clock, a satellite dish or an antenna. You decide!
